PREPARATION

Tools:
- 2 Different styles of picks
- 1 punch tool
- Flathead screwdriver

Start by removing the upper-receiver. Follow the instructions displayed on the image.

STEP. 1

Removing the tension spring.

Use a pick to remove the tension spring from the front hook.

 

STEP. 2

Removing the feed-ramp spring for the bolt release. 

Use a pick or some pliers, lift and pull the spring away from its position to release it.

 

STEP. 3

Removing the feeding ramps.

1. Use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry it upwards.

OR

2. Use your fingers to clamp it on both ends to pull it up.

STEP. 4

Removing the C-clip.

Use a small thin pick to pull the C-clip up. Make sure to keep your hand over this area as the C-clip will/might fly away.

STEP. 5

Removing the rear pin.

Hold your hand over the rear as well so to keep it in place. While you do that, use a punch tool to press the pin out.

STEP. 6

Removing the trigger-bar.

Please be careful while removing the trigger-bar, if handled too aggressively you can snap it.

Wiggle it out of its position until it's free.

STEP. 7

Installing the STILETTO Trigger.

Replace the OEM trigger with the STILETTO.

STEP. 8

Re-installing the trigger-bar.

Again, go slow and gentle, don't force the trigger-bar into place.

STEP. 9

Re-installing the trigger-bar.

Line up the trigger-bar hole to the rear-assembly. After lining up the holes, re-install the rear pin. Make sure it's seated properly.

STEP. 10

Re-installing the C-clip.

Re-install the C-clip. Apply even pressure and press down. It might take a couple of tries.

STEP. 11

Re-installing the feeding ramps.

Press down the feeding ramps back into place, make sure the arm is also in the right position.

Re-installing the feeding ramps spring.

Re-install the spring back into its original place.

STEP. 12

Re-installing the tension spring.

Re-install the tension spring back.

STEP. 13

Re-install the upper-receiver and you're done!
